Daria joined the Biomedical Data Science Lab in March 2024 as part of the Pediatric Oncology subgroup. Her PhD focuses on computer vision approaches (in particular, denoising diffusion models) for tumor growth and treatment prediction in the area of pediatric neuro-oncology. She obtained a BSc degree in Medical Biosciences from Imperial College London before switching her focus to the interplay of data science and medicine in her MSc in Computational Biology at ETH Zurich. In her free time, she loves to cook and spend time doing outdoor activities such as running, skiing or tennis. She is also an avid Formula 1 fan and enjoys travelling.
