ICNR2024 - the 6th International Conference on Neurorehabilitation

UPDATE! Liliana Paredes, the scientific coordinator from our lab will be participating in ICNR2024 and holding a special session.

She will be holding together with José López Sánchez Lopez from CEN - external page Centro Europeo de Neurociencias, Daniel Zutter from external page VAMED Schweiz and Sarah Brüningk from our lab the special session titled "Integrating Human Factors, Intensity Training Requirements, and Emerging Technologies: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Digital Health and Rehabilitation Technologies".

In this session, Liliana and colleagues will introduce the concept of digital twins for SCI patients, enabling simulation of recovery through standard protocols. They'll discuss AI-driven methods for personalized predictions in clinical trials. They will also challenge beliefs on chronic stroke patients' motor and functional recovery, revealing promising findings for interventions beyond perceived limits. Furthermore, the team will discuss the feasibility of soft exosuit-based gait training for neurological patients and explore the evolution of rehabilitation with robotics and digitalization, highlighting challenges and future potentials. Overall, the session showcases interdisciplinary approaches to enhance neurological rehabilitation outcomes.

Liliana is also eagerly anticipating the keynote lectures and workshops from field experts.

Join the plenary lecturers Christine Azevedo Coste, R. James Cotton, Levi Hargrove, Jose Obeso, Alessandra Pedrocchi and Rüdiger Rupp. We are excited to be part of it!
